A package rate is a special fare offered by the providers or accommodations to be sold together with other holidays services. These prices normally are cheaper than standalone prices.
The way our system shows these rate varies depending on each provider. Some of them will deliver in a same connection standalone and package rates while other provider will give you a set of api credential per fare type.
To simplify this we are applying a common criteria for thel providers that support this as follows:
- For B2C users in only accommodation/hotel engine it will only show standalone fares, for the rest of the search engines package rates will be also offered and the system will display the cheapest.
- For B2B users both fares will always be displayed in any search engine
This will apply for the following providers:
World2Meet, BOOKOHOTEL, ALPHATOURS, CUPOHOTEL, GALAXYVACATION, JUNIPER, ROIBOS, WEBBEDS, IXPIRA, PANAMERICANA, FASTPAY, AMERICANEXECUTIVE, MAGICDMC, VIAJES_PACIFICO
If a provider in not included in this list it meand that they do not support our system to request these certain fares, this in some cases is because they directly don’t have these fare types and work with a unique fare. For these cases our system will always show the cheaper fare.
